Dreaded Unicorn Productions is a storytelling house built on contrast—softness and power, beauty and darkness, truth and illusion.
We create across disciplines: books, theater, film, and graphic design. But at the center of everything we do is one thing—story. Not surface-level storytelling, but the kind that lingers. The kind that asks something of you. The kind that refuses to be ignored.
Our work explores emotional depth, identity, vulnerability, and the quiet tensions people carry beneath the surface. Whether it lives on the page, the stage, the screen, or in visual design, every piece is crafted to evoke, disrupt, and transform.
We are especially drawn to stories that exist in the in-between—where desire meets fear, where strength softens, where truth is complicated. Stories that don’t resolve neatly. Stories that feel lived in.
Dreaded Unicorn Productions was founded as a space for bold, multidimensional storytelling—particularly stories that center Black voices, imaginative worlds, and psychologically rich characters. Here, fantasy and realism coexist. Intimacy and spectacle share the same breath.
Beyond creation, we are committed to development. We work with actors, writers, and creatives to deepen their craft—helping them access emotional truth, build layered characters, and bring their ideas fully to life.
